閃爍四十餘年的勃根地之星

Domaine Haegelen-Jayer於1960年代由Alfred Haegelen 與妻子 Madeleine Jayer共同創立,妻子Madeleine是酒神Henri Jayer的侄女, 夫妻倆曾任職於鼎鼎大名的Château de la Tour 和 Domaine de La Romanée-Conti。妻子Madeleine帶來Jayer家族的部分土地,約4.2公頃的葡萄園分布於Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges及Chambolle-Musigny,其中0.8公頃的地塊位於Clos Vougeot特級園的最高坡地酒莊“La Plante L'Abbe”,日照充足,果實的成熟度均匀,加上老藤的比例高,是特級園中的特級園 "Grand Cru of the Grand Cru"。Haegelen-Jayer的地位更與名莊 Domaine Leroy、Domaine Georges Roumier 和 Domaine Gros Frere et Soeur並駕齊驅。只可惜子女無意繼承,莊主退休後,2009年成為酒莊最後的年份。

以佳釀致敬酒神 Henri Jayer

Alfred參考酒神Henri Jayer特有的浸漬法(cuvaison),在釀酒時保留1/3的葡萄梗以增加架構感,並將浸漬時間提升4至5倍,約18天, 陳釀使用新橡木桶比例多為1/3,裝瓶前不過濾。酒莊的釀造風格為風味濃郁,口感溫和,不過度強勁猛烈,卻有長達二十年之久的超凡陳年潛力。
